Emerald and diamond pendant/brooch, mid-19th century

Designed as a Saint-Esprit set with cushion-shaped and rose diamonds and cabochon ruby eyes, suspending a detachable pendant similarly set with a fluted emerald bead, hinged pendant bail and detachable brooch fitting, two small diamonds deficient.

Mounted in silver and gold. Emerald with typical crystal inclusions, few scratches and nicks. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches and tarnish consistent with use and age. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 17 grams.
