Comprising: a necklace featuring a detachable brooch/pendant set with a step-cut emerald weighing 53.25 carats within a frame of brilliant-cut and pear-shaped diamonds, on a similarly set necklace, inner circumference approximately 390mm; a pair of earrings each suspending a heart-shaped emerald within a frame of brilliant-cut and pear-shaped diamonds, from similarly set surmounts, post and clip fittings; and a ring, size 52, each signed Fred, French assay and maker's marks, case stamped Fred.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72346, stating that the 53.25 carat emerald, measuring 26.49 x 22.82 x 10.07 mm, is of Colombian origin, with a minor amount of oil in fissures, together with an appendix letter detailing the exceptional characteristics of this emerald. Brooch, necklace and ring signed Fred Paris, France, tops of ear clips signed Fred Paris, all pieces with maker's marks. All pieces stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. For further information on the certified medium strong saturated emerald please refer to the report; emerald on ring estimated to weigh approximately 14.50 - 15.50 carat, on ear clips approximately 14.00 - 15.00 carat each, as gauged and graded in mounting; very well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions (lesser in largest one), few surface reaching, few scratches and abrasions. Total diamond weight estimated to be approximately 110.00 - 120.00 carat on necklace, approximately 5.00 - 5.50 carat on ring and approximately 9.50 - 10.50 carat on ear clips, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in yellow gold mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch to the side. Little signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 250 grams.
