Suspending oval and pear-shaped emeralds, the pear-shaped stone weighing 7.17 carats, from a fine link chain, length approximately 465mm, signed Gübelin, Swiss assay and maker's marks. 

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 69932, stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, the emeralds weighing 2.10 and 2.72 carats, with no indications of clarity modification and the emeralds weighing 3.58, 3.88, 7.17 and 2.32 carats respectively, with a minor amount of oil on fissures. Stamped Swiss, makers mark for Gübelin. Stamped with 750 for 18 carat gold. According to the SSEF report the 2.100 carat oval-shaped emerald measures 8.81 x 7.35 x 5.03 mm, the 2.725 carat oval-shaped emerald measures 10.26 x 9.64 x 5.35 mm, the 3.580 carat oval-shaped emerald measures 10.84 x 9.50 x 6.64 mm, the 3.837 carat oval-shaped emerald measures 10.75 x 9.37 x 7.22 mm, the 7.170 carat pear-shaped emerald measures 18.28 x 12.40 x 5.89 mm and the 2.328 carat oval-shaped emerald measures 9.18 x 8.49 x 5.08 mm, they are of strong saturation, please refer to the report for further information; with few to some typical crystal inclusions, minor nicks and chips. Clasp secure, with safety catch to the side and safety chain. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 33 grams.
