The circular dial decorated with guilloché enamel and millegrain-set rose diamond hands, within a chapter ring composed of white enamel depicting Roman numerals, inset to an agate mount, collet-set with cabochon sapphires, measuring approximately 90 x 90mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Case signed Cartier, maker's mark on stand, case numbered 426 below Cartier signature, indistinctly numbered (414)8 to side, stand numbered 98428. Stand stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat yellow gold. Mechanical movement not in running condition at time of cataloguing, please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Enamel in very good condition. Sapphires well matched in colour. Agate in very good condition, only minor nicks and scratches. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 247 grams.
