The step-cut emerald weighing 13.98 carats set between triangular diamond shoulders, size 51, sizing band, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 71298, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels Paris on inside of shank, maker's mark on outside. Stamped with French assay mark and PT 950 for platinum. According to the SSEF report the emerald, weighing approximately 13 carat, measures approximately 16.70 x 14.05 x 7.95 mm, it is green of medium strong saturation, for further information please refer to the report; good transparency with typical inclusions, few surface reaching, some scratches and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.60 carats each, on average of G-H colour and VS clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 9 grams.
