Set with a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 104.97 carats, to a decorative mount highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds and cultured pearls, suspending a similarly set fringe, signed Shaker, together with a gold chain measuring approximately 920mm.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72266, stating that the 104.97 carat emerald, measuring 30.01 x 28.34 x 19.38 mm, is of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of artificial resin in fissures. Chain stamped with Italian maker's mark for Vicenza, brooch signed Shaker, maker's mark. All pieces stamped 750 for 18 carat yellow gold. Chain may be worn either as a sautoir measuring approximately 920 mm, or detached as a bracelet measuring 190 mm together with the sautoir then measuring 730 mm. According to the SSEF report, the emerald is green of medium saturation, for further information please refer to the report; with typical crystal inclusions, few scratches and nicks. Cultured pearls of white body colour, good lustre, few blemishes. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 23.00 - 25.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasps secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 230 grams (pendant/brooch approximately 87 grams, chain approximately 143 grams).
