Comprising: a necklace and a pair of detachable pendent ear clips set with cabochon rubies and marquise-shaped, brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, necklace length approximately 390mm, necklace with maker's mark, each with French assay marks, later gold plated.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Maker's mark on necklace clasp. Necklace stamped with French assay marks for platinum and gold, ear clips stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold, however all piece have been fully gold plated at a later date. Rubies well matched in colour, mainly translucent to opaque, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, few scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 30.00 - 32.00 carats, on average of H-J colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 139 grams.
