Suspending a briolette-cut aquamarine weighing approximately 110.00 carats, the necklace composed of 358 pearls measuring approximately 2.8 to 2.6 mm, further set with numerous old mine and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.80 carats, length 22 inches, signed Marcus; circa 1910; pendant detachable.
Condition
In good condition with minimal wear to the mountings. The aquamarine briolette is a medium-light slightly greenish blue; eye-clean with minor abrasions seen under 10x magnification. The 5 largest old mine-cut diamonds together weigh approximately 3.20 carats and are approximately I-K color, SI clarity. The smaller diamonds are approximately H-J color, VS-SI clarity. The round to near round silvery white pearls are well-matched for color, present soft pink and green overtones, a satin-like luster and minimal blemishing. Signed on the foldover safety clasp. The necklace measures approximately 15 inches from the clasp to the base of the aquamarine, letting the pendant fall to the base of the sternum (depending on the wearer). Pendant length 4 inches.
