The paisley-shaped pendant-brooch set with one cabochon and numerous pear-shaped rubies weighing approximately 15.75 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 3.10 carats; attached to a gold link necklace accented by two cabochon rubies weighing approximately 3.75 carats, accented by round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.90 carats, length 19½ inches; the earclips set with two cabochon and numerous round rubies weighing approximately 17.75 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 8.00 carats; the ring set with one cabochon and numerous round rubies weighing approximately 18.00 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 4.80 carats, size 5¼, fitted with inner sizing band; all pieces signed Webb.

Condition

In good condition. NECKLACE: The cabochon rubies are translucent, medium deep purplish red and moderately included one with a cavity from a surface reaching fracture. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The brooch fits into the attachment on the necklace with the tail of the paisley pointing down. One of the pinstems fits into a tube on the fitting for stability. BROOCH: The rubies are medium purplish red and range from moderately to heavily included. The cabochon ruby exhibits fractures due to surface reaching inclusions and some chipping at the base. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The brooch is signed on a plaque that is screwed into the brooch on the reverse and one end has become detached. EARCLIPS: The rubies are deep slightly purplish red. The faceted rubies are lightly included and the cabochons are heavily included with some minor scratching and small surface reaching fractures. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Fitted with posts. RING: The rubies are medium slightly purplish red and like in the earclips, the faceted rubies are lightly included and the cabochon is heavily included. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The shank with some gentle scratching to the exterior. Fitted with a sizing band.
