The front set with five square emerald-cut diamonds weighing approximately 9.60 carats, accented by 12 marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 7.20 carats, further set with numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 49.60 carats, length 17 inches, bracelet length 7 inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered NY 44840, one link numbered 545; the central diamond fitted with retractable pendant loop; circa 1975.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald-cut diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity. The remainder of the round and marquise-cut diamonds are approximately F-H color and VS clarity. The 7 inch segment is convertible from a straightline configuration to a V-shaped configuration by lifting the safety closures on the reverse of the center link and moving the hinged sections up or down. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels on end of necklace segment and bracelet segment, and numbered on clasp of necklace segment. Very flexible and well-made.
