The first necklace composed of 18 round turquoise beads measuring approximately 22.5 to 17.8 mm, spaced by 17 cultured pearls measuring approximately 7.4 to 7.2 mm, completed by a fluted gold ball clasp, length 19 inches, unsigned; the second necklace composed of 15 round turquoise beads measuring approximately 22.9 to 18.8 mm, spaced by 14 cultured pearls measuring approximately 7.4 to 7.2 mm, completed by a fluted gold ball clasp, length 17½ inches, unsigned; together with a pair of earclips centering two turquoise cabochons measuring approximately 20.0 mm, framed by 16 cultured pearls measuring approximately 5.9 mm, signed Verdura. With two signed necklace pouches.

Condition

All pieces in good condition. NECKLACES: The turquoise beads are a medium greenish blue, with some evident color mottling. The round to near-round cultured pearls have a silvery body color with some light rose overtones, medium to good luster, with some examples of wrinkled skins and pitting visible under close inspection. EARCLIPS: The turquoises are a medium-deep very slightly greenish blue, with some matrix on the reverse that is not seen when worn. The round cultured pearls have a silvery white body color with soft rose overtones, good luster, and some very minor peeling to the skins visible under magnification. Signed and with a workshop mark on applied plaques on the reverse. Please note one of the strands has become detached and will be repaired for the purchaser by Sotheby's.
