The fanciful strawberries set with numerous inverted spinels weighing 14.10 carats, the leaves set with round green garnets weighing 1.96 carats, suspended from vines set with round diamonds weighing 2.56 carats, the carved white hardstone florets centering round diamonds of yellow hue weighing .25 carat, signed Michele Della Valle, numbered 140737.
Condition
In very good condition. Spinels are reverse set, medium to medium-deep purplish red, and range from eye-clean to very slightly included. The colorless diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity and the colored diamonds are approximately Fancy to Fancy Intense Yellow, VS clarity. The garnets are a bright light to medium yellowish green, and eye-clean. Nicely articulated, offering movement when worn. Signed and numbered on back of clip. Maker's mark and Italian registry mark on added plaque on back of leaf. Length approximately 2 1/4 inches.
