Description

  • emerald, diamond, platinum
Set with a step-cut emerald weighing 3.58 carats, set adjacently to an emerald-cut diamond weighing 4.08 carats, to shoulders channel-set with square-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, signed and numbered 709619. Ring size: 5¾

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to both AGL & SSEF reports, the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement. The emerald-cut diamond, according to GIA report, is of G colour, VS2 clarity. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the emerald is of bright, medium intense green colour, very clean to naked eyes. Upon 10x loupe, there are only two nicks on crown facets and minor fingerprints on one corner, not even noticeable. Other tiny diamonds on the shank are about F to G colours, VS clarity. Signed and numbered to the shank, with platinum mark. Condition: Signs of normal wear to the platinum mount, overall in very good condition.

Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
