Description

  • diamond, sapphire, white gold
Suspending seven graduating oval sapphires together weighing 33.48 carats, each surrounded by variously-shaped diamonds, the necklace set with numerous brilliant-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 42.60 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 185mm.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin report, all seven sapphires are natural, with no indications of heating. Five stones are from Burma, and origin of the other two sapphires are undetermined. According to GRS reports, the two natural sapphires which Gübelin cannot determined origin are from Sri Lanka, unheated. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the sapphires are of medium intense blue colour, eye clean and lively. Upon 10x loupe, there are silks and fingerprint inclusions, very common in natural sapphires and not seen to naked eyes. Diamonds are about G to H colours, VS clarity. Condition: Karat white gold mount, in very good condition.
