The nephrite body inlaid with two bands of gold, lapis lazuli and turquoise decorated in a honeycomb pattern, the short sides set with lapis lazuli plaques, one integrated with the hinged cover, the thumbpiece set with rose diamonds, the interior engraved 'Linda 14.7.29.', measuring approximately 90 x 55 x 15mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and indistinct maker's mark.

Condition

Accompanied by Cartier certificate of authenticity no. GE2001-174. Signed Cartier, numbered 503 and HSA 1311, indistinct French maker's mark, French assay mark for gold. Interior inscribed 'Linda 14.7.29.'. Nephrite in excellent condition, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching. Lapus-lazuli also in excellent condition, with typical gold coloured pyrite veining. Turquoise in very good condition with typical matrix inclusions. 11 diamonds on thumbpiece lively. Hinged case cover closes securely. Few signs of wear to the gold mounting, in excellent condition especially considering the age of this piece. Total gross weight approximately 194 grams.
