The front composed of a graduated series of clusters, each set with a cabochon ruby and brilliant-cut diamonds, the reverse similarly set, length approximately 455mm, signed V.C.A., numbered.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2145013508, stating that the central ruby weighing 19.58 carats, measuring 17.45 x 12.30 x 8.75 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Accompanied by a Van Cleef & Arpels certificate of authenticity. Signed V.C.A., numbered N.Y. 39960. Rubies well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, a few nicks and scratches, some rubies with cavities to the reverse. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 27.00 - 29.00 carats, on average G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Clasp secure, safety latch below. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 87 grams.
