The centre set with an oval ruby weighing 6.02 carats, between two cushion-shaped sapphires weighing 10.44 and 13.44 carats, further highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, signed monture VCA, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 82325, stating that the sapphire, measuring 14.10 x 12.74 x 7.75 mm and weighing 13.44 carats, is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Also accompanied by SSEF report no. 82326, stating that the ruby, measuring 13.67 x 8.41 x 5.35 mm and weighing 6.02 carats, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating and with a moderate amount of oil in fissures; and report no. 82327, stating that the sapphire, measuring 12.98 x 10.06 x 8.56 mm and weighing 10.44 carats, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Signed Monture VCA, numbered 10322 CS. French maker's mark, French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, mounted in yellow gold. Kashmir sapphire weighing 13.44 carats blue of strong saturation, with typical colour banding visible under 10 x magnification, chips, abrasions and nicks around the girdle and on the facet edges. Ceylon sapphire weighing 10.44 carats blue of medium strong saturation, with typical colour banding, minor chips and abrasions. Ruby red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, cavities and nicks. For further details on the stone, please refer to the SSEF reports. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00 - 3.00 carats, on average H-I colour, SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of normal wear to the metal. In good condition.
