The oval sapphire weighing 26.92 carats, set within a surround of marquise- and pear-shaped diamonds, size 52, ring designed by Maurice Galli.
Condition
Accompanied by Gübelin duplicate report no. 14030231 and SSEF duplicate report no. 82373, each stating that the oval sapphire weighing 26.92 carats, is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating; together with the original certificates (SSEF report no. 73932, dated 2 April 2014, and Gübelin report no. 14030231, dated 25 March 2014).
Stamped PT 950 for platinum. According to the SSEF report the sapphire is blue of medium strong saturation, few inclusions visible under close inspection, few small nicks and scratches; for further details on the stone, please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.00 - 5.50 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 21 grams.
