Condition
This work has recently been restored. The canvas is not lined, but the edges have been taped and there
are five small reinforcements on the reverse of the original canvas. Under ultraviolet light, it can be seen
that accurate retouches have been added to small paint losses corresponding to the five reinforcements. There are a couple of small retouches elsewhere, but the paint layer is very healthy. The work is in good condition and should be hung in its current state. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)
