Condition

Overall very good condition. The surface with very shallow surface scratches consistent with age and gentle use. A few scattered minor inherent surface irregularities and a few minute age cracks. With some minor surface dirt to the exterior and recessed portions of the design. The ebony displays rich figuring and subtle color palette, with delicate variations of a lighter brown hue, as seen in the catalogue illustration detail on page 112. The beautiful wood selection and smooth surface treatment complement the dynamic shape and make this piece a wonderful example of Noll's sculptural work.
