Condition

Please note that the piece bears the monogram DG. Good overall condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display a deep and rich green patina, more varied in hue than seen on catalogue illustration. The patinated surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches, light rubbing, and surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design consistent with age and gentle use. The entire surface with some traces of oxidation throughout. One of the arms shown on the left of the catalogue illustration with a leaf missing at the end, which does not alter the design of the piece. A wonderful sculpture with great poetic presence.
