Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, laid down on the artist's mount which is t-hinged to the overmount in two places along the upper edge. The sheet is slightly time-stained and there is an area of tape staining along the top edge of the mount, relating to previous framing and not visible when framed. There are two pinholes to the centre of the left and right edges of the mount. There is a small vertical tear towards the right part of the lower edge of the mount and some diagonal creasing towards the lower right corner and a crease just above the small tear already mentioned. There is some minor paper skinning to all four corners of the mount. The sheet itself is in very good condition with no visible flaws. This work is in overall good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the papertone is very slightly less pink in the original.
