The Patek Philippe ref.5033P was first produced in 2002 as a special order for the Middle Eastern royal family with ten examples in platinum and one in titanium, all with painted Roman numeral dials. Officially launched to the public in 2006 at the Basel Fair, the watch featured a different configuration of dial with dauphine hands and applied elongated triangular baton indexes.  In 2011 Patek Phillipe introduced a new version of ref.5033P with a tonneau case meticulously set with 98 top quality baguette-cut diamonds weighing 4.39 carats.   Enhancing the grace and beauty of this outstanding horological piece, this beautiful timepiece harks back to an era of Art Deco elegance.

Carrying the innovative calibre R27 PS QA, a technical masterpiece consisting of 483 individual parts, this reference features, for the first time, a combination of minute repeating mechanism with its annual calendar mechanism, patented in 1996.  Discontinued in 2011 and delivered until 2012, according to our research there are only around 80 watches produced in total, made this jeweled examples even rarer during the short period of availability.
