Set with an oval-shaped sapphire measuring approximately 14.4 by 10.2 by 8.6 mm, the mounting set with numerous round and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 8.15 carats, size 5½, signed Webb.

Condition

In good condition. The sapphire is a medium to medium-deep violetish blue and lightly included. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. Bears a nice heft, signed on the inner shank. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 62435 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Please note that the mounting is platinum and 18-karat gold, not platinum and 14-karat gold as stated in the printed catalogue.
