The polished gold band set with a graduated row of six citrines, gross weight approximately 4 dwts, size 4¾; circa 1940.
Condition
In good condition. The citrines graduate from a light brownish yellow to a medium-deep brownish orange, eye-clean. Evidence of sizing on the underside of the shank. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Françoise Cailles stating that this 'chevalière de dame' ring is a work by René Boivin, designed by Juliette Moutard. The certificate translates as follows:
"I the undersigned Francoise Cailles certify that the above ring corresponding to the following designation:
'Chevaliere de dame pinkie ring in gold. The asymmetrical design coils around the ring in three planes, the center by a line of graduated citrines.
Net weight: 6.8 grams.'
