  • gold, platinum, azurmalachite, ruby, diamond
Designed as opposing chimeras composed of fluted azurmalachite segments, set with two ruby beads measuring approximately 14.5 to 14.1 mm, accented by oval-shaped cabochon ruby spots, further set with round and pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 5.00 carats, internal circumference 6½ inches, signed David Webb, numbered BS344.

Condition

In good condition. The azurmalachite is a nice blend of medium to medium-light green and medium blue, intact and displays color banding throughout as is typical of the material. The ruby beads are medium pinkish red, semi-translucent to translucent, and moderately to heavily included; one bead slightly loose in its mounting. The cabochon rubies are a slightly more saturated medium to medium-deep pinkish red, moderately included with examples of surface-reaching inclusions and abrasions at the facet junctions, visible under magnification. One of the oval-shaped gold mountings at the top of the bracelet is loose, but stable. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. Gross weight approximately 104 dwts. Bears a nice heft, and is hinged for ease of wear.
