The stylized flower centering an old European-cut diamond weighing approximately 4.00 carats, framed by 16 calibré-cut sapphires weighing approximately 1.00 carat, the petals set with single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, size 4¾, fitted with inner sizing band, unsigned; 1953. With signed box.
Condition
In good condition, inner sizing band slightly out of round. The center diamond is approximately G-H color, SI1 clarity, with a diamond chipped underneath the bezel. The calibré-cut sapphires are medium-deep slightly violetish blue and lightly to moderately included. The smaller diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. Fitted with an inner sizing band. It is impossible to unmount to weigh and grade the diamond. Although unsigned, this piece is accompanied by Cartier Certificate of Authenticity no. NYC2012-32.
