Set with nine oval-shaped star sapphire cabochons weighing approximately 31.75 accented by 36 smaller round sapphire cabochons, further set with round diamonds weighing approximately 3.40 carats, length 7 inches, signed Verdura, numbered 0-143.

In good condition. The star sapphires are a medium-light violetish blue, heavily included, showing poor to moderate asterism. Some of the stones show surface-reaching inclusions, with one example running the width of the stone, though it is secure in the mounting. The smaller cabochon sapphires are medium deep blue, heavily included with some examples showing surface-reaching cavities and chips. The diamonds are approximately H-J color, VS-SI clarity. Fitted with a safety closure.
