The brooch designed as a trio of flowerheads, with petals composed of cabochon sapphires, turquoise and moonstones, centered by clusters of round diamonds weighing 2.88 carats, with one flowerhead accented by mother-of-pearl cabochons, signed Seaman Schepps, numbered 21383; together with floral earclips centered by round diamonds weighing 1.68 carats, with cabochon turquoise petals accented by cabochon sapphires weighing 2.59 carats, signed Seaman Schepps, numbered 21382. With signed pouch.

Condition

Both pieces in good condition. BROOCH: The turquoise cabochons are a medium very slightly greenish blue, with very minor mottling visible under magnification. There is some mottling and matrix on the reverse of the stones that is not apparent when worn. The cabochon sapphires are a medium deep slightly violetish blue, lightly to moderately included with several exhibiting some minor surface reaching fractures. The faceted sapphires are a medium light blue-violet, lightly included. Total weight of the sapphires is approximately 25.50 carats. The moonstones weigh approximately 16.25 carats and are a light blue with moderate adularescence. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. EARCLIPS: The turquoise cabochons are a medium deep very slightly greenish blue, with some very minor matrix visible on the underside of a few stones. The sapphires are a medium slightly violetish blue. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, predominantly VS clarity.
