Condition

Overall very good condition. The patinated wrought iron surfaces with concentrated wear and rubbing to the patina. The surfaces of the chenets present with scattered traces of surface dirt and residue throughout consistent with use, with more concentrated surface residue to the lower portions of the bases. This pair of chenets is presently lacking the steel structural elements to the hold the firewood, as seen in the catalogue illustration. The chenets with a strong and detailed sculptural presence when viewed on person, heightened by the rich brown patina.
