inflorescence  secondaire  et  fruits  de  Raphia  farinifera  portés  par  une spirale. Cette spirale est à considérer comme un symbole de la théorie foliaire de Goethe. Celui-ci, en observant les plantes, avait compris bien avant notre époque que toutes les parties de  plantes ressemblaient à des feuilles, qu’elles avaient une base génétique commune.

 Le socle est en bois d’Avodiré moiré               Turraeanthus africanus (C.DC.) Pellegrin. Les piètements et cartel sont en Beli Julbernardia sp. Pellegrin. L’ensemble protégé par un capot en verre avec cadre en laiton brasé à l’argent. Cartel d’identification.
