Catalogue Note

When this bowl previously appeared at auction, the maker was given as Hans Erickse (Citroen 316) whose recorded dates are 1665-1694. As the maker's mark which appears on this bowl is identical with the one recorded by Citroen for Hans Erickse, it is possible that his widow continued the workshop after his death.
