Description

Designed as a bouquet of violets, with carved amethyst flowers accented with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds and carved nephrite leaves, one leaf and flower deficient.

Condition

Maker's mark to reverse. Brooch and pin stamped with Austrian assay marks for 18 carat gold and Vienna, mounted in white and yellow gold. Amethysts of medium to strong saturation, well matched, few nicks and scratches, one with larger chip but not disturbing when worn. Green nephrite in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.00 - 1.50 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, minor solder marks to the reverse. In good condition.
