Tourmaline and seed pearl necklace, Tiffany & Co., early 20th century

Of scroll and geometric design, set with variously cut green and pink tourmalines, highlighted with seed pearls, length approximately 485mm, signed Tiffany & Co.

Stamped 18K for 18 carat gold. Signed Tiffany & Co, both to applied plaques on the reverse. Several tourmalines partly coloured pink and green, some stones pink, of varying saturations, all with typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Seed pearls white, well matched in colour. Clasp slightly stiff, could benefit from professional attention. Some evidence of re-soldering towards the back of the necklace, not visible when worn. Scratches to metal consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
