Claw-set with an oval ruby weighing 5.64 carats, within an undulating frame of tapered baguette and baguette diamonds, size N, French assay mark.

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Stamped with French assay mark and 750 for 18 carat gold. Ruby stated to weigh 5.64 carats, medium purplish red, typical inclusions visible to naked eye, surface reaching fissure to side. Diamonds stated to weigh 2.42, stones bright and lively. Scratches to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
