The brooch of foliate and scroll design, set with two natural pearls and circular-, single-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds; the earrings set with lines of circular-cut and rose diamonds suspending baroque cultured pearl drops, post and hinged back fittings.
Condition
Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 82843, stating that the two pearls in the brooch were found to be natural, saltwater.
Brooch: Natural pearls cream, baroque, medium lustre, some hairline cracks to nacre. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 7.00 - 8.00 carats, stones bright and lively. Clasp fitting secure.
Earrings: Cultured pearls white and cream, baroque, medium lustre. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.70 - 0.90 carats, stones bright and lively. Well articulated. Hinged back fittings secure when closed.
Abrasions to mounts consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
