Set with an oval rubellite weighing 42.09 carats, to a stylised surround set with variously-shaped diamonds, the necklace composed of links set with oval rubies and baguette diamonds, connected by brilliant-cut diamonds, the rubies and diamonds together weighing approximately 12.85 and 21.30 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 430mm, signed Laut and numbered 7389.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the GRS report, the rubellite is natural, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the rubellite is of intense purplish red colour. Under 10x loupe, the rubellite is lightly included, the crystal inclusions and nicks not noticeable to naked eyes. The small rubies are of intense purplish red colour, under 10x loupe, the rubies are moderately included, the inclusions, not noticeable to naked eyes. The diamonds are of mixed colours ranging from G-K colours,VS-SI clarity. Condition: In very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US.
