carved seated with a round head, pointed beak and incised circular eyes, the curved wings slanted towards the upcurled tail, the bottom hollowed to fit the shaft, the pale green jade with black inclusions

Compared to the catalogue illustration, the jade is darker. The bird finial is in good condition.
