12mo (168 x 100mm.), 3 volumes, first edition, half-titles, contemporary or near contemporary polished calf, covers with double gilt fillets, gilt turn-ins, spines in six compartments lettered in gilt, top edges gilt, upper covers of volumes 1 and 3 neatly re-attached, tiny paper flaw to lower margin of I5 of volume 3 (not affecting text), offsetting to edges of endpapers, very minor browning to text, minor wear to edges of binding
