Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined but has been re-stretched on a new stretcher frame. There is some very fine scattered craquelure throughout, most notably along the turning edges, with some very minor associated losses to the pigment noted near the edges. There is some minor variation to the varnish in the ochre, due to the artistÂ’s choice of medium. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
