Condition

This work is in excellent condition. Extremely close inspection under raking light or various angles shows some scattered faint evidence of minor handling marks, primarily on the vertical face with the "Oasis" label, on the right as illustrated in the catalogue. There is a fingerprint on a vent in the left grill, 5th up from the bottom, and a few scattered fingerprints above the left grill of vents. On the rear right face, there is a 1" horizontal linear rub, extending from the artist's vertical seam on this face. The sculpture is accompanied by a wooden base painted white and is covered by a Plexiglas casing. As is to be expected with the nature of the medium, there are traces of graphite visible on the white painted wood base.
