Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some wear to the extreme lower edge and extremely fine tension cracks and handling marks running intermittedly along the vertical edges. Further very close inspection in raking light reveals a few faint and unobtrusive drip marks in a few isolated places towards the lower half of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
