The panel is cradled, probably to support two old, restored vertical separations between the three panels that make up this picture. There is some restoration along these lines. The varnish is discoloured, inspection under UV light reveals that it has been partially cleaned in certain areas such as the hands and face. There is a degree of retouchings in the face of the lady, visible only under UV light and sensitively executed. There are other scattered retouchings throughout.
