Description

  • Leather, pine
  • each panel: 189cm. high, 71cm. wide; 6ft. 2¼in., 2ft. 4in.
with parcel-gilt flowers, fruit and cherubs on a red ground

Condition

This screen maybe made up of wall coverings as there are joins and cuts to the repeated pattern. This adaptation of rectagular wall panels is probably 20th century. There are tears, rips and scuffs and old marks and scratches throughout, at some of these points there is exposed leather.
