Condition

In need of some attention. Tired looking with scuffs , marks, chips and minor losses to the decoration which is worn on the top and the sides and doors have craquelure commensurate with age. It may benefit from a clean which may reveal more of the external decoration. The internal decoration is in better shape but the gilding is refreshed and the ogee shaped pierced fretwork looks later compared to the rest. The pierced balustrades look later. The sides look redecorated with some later ebonised mouldings. On the base, a large section of the pierced fret is damaged.
