Quelques craquelures de peinture.
De petites taches sur l'ensemble, plus concentrées vers le bas du motif représentant le chien.
Un petit manque de peinture 0.2 x 0.2 mm vers le bas à gauche dans la partie peinte en marron.
Overall good conditon. The canvas is not lined. Close inspection reveals a network of very fine hairline craquelure and a tiny pinhole 1/3 of the way down the right edge. Under UV light some scattered minor spots fluoresce. Apart from two thin approx. 10cm long vertical lines of paint-loss and a sprinkling of oxidation marks in the lower right corner, this work is in good condition.
The work is presently in a silvered wood frame. The frame with minor abrasions, rubbing, discolorations throughout, and a few minor edge losses. There is a nail at the lower central portion of the frame which was placed too close to the interior edge of the frame and has fractured to the adjacent wooden edge. With a minor separation of the canvas from the frame at the top proper right corner.
