Condition

This work is in beautiful condition. The piece of canvas on which it is painted was mounted onto another piece of canvas and re-stretched, probably by the artist. The paint layer is even and stable. There are no retouches. The painting seems to be slightly dirty and would probably respond to cleaning. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)

Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
