Description
the ovoid body divided into six lobes and rising to a gilt rim, the exterior decorated in vivid enamels with lotus blooms issuing multi-coloured leaves, all between petal lappets and a band of stylised clouds, a 'classic' scroll band incised around the gilded circular base, the base further incised with a four-character reign mark within double squares
Condition
There is rubbing to the gilding, especially the footring, general surface to the body and minor pitting to the enamels. Otherwise good condition.
