centred with a single character shou surrounded by green tempestuous waves crashing on stylised rocks and the four character fugui tongchun ('May your fortune flourish as spring'), interspersed with beribboned wan symbols and multicoloured clouds, all reserved on a rich yellow-ground, the reverse decorated with floral spray on a white ground and centred with an iron red four-character mark
Condition
The dish is in overall good condition. There are a couple of minute flakes to the yellow-glaze enamel below the interior rim.There is some minor rubbing to the gilding around the rim and on the characters.
