Condition

A good cast in excellent condition. The piece was heavily waxed and has been judiciously removed by a restorer, after the photograph for the paper catalogue illustration was taken, so the result is a lightly waxed bronze with pleasing wear to the highpoints. The color is well matched to the catalogue illustration. There are some very small indentations to the base where the bronze has not permeated (photographs available on request), these are part of the casting process, barely visible to the eye and do not detract from a remarkable piece.
